A Lifetime of Preparation

Srila Prabhupada adhered to his guru's directive to spread Krishna consciousness among the English-speaking populace of the West, embarking on a daring journey across the Atlantic Ocean in 1965.

Global Mission

By 1977, he had overseen the growth of ISKCON into a global confederation with over one hundred asramas, schools, temples, and farm communities.
